Acceptable usage of Wallywall Library computers and technology.
This policy applies to all customers of Wallywall Library. Customers are responsible for exercising good judgement regarding the appropriate use of information, electronic devices and network resources, following the Wallywall Library policies.
Wallywall Library values its customers and strives to help customers realise their self-learning, academic and personal development goals. Our computers are equipt with basic educational software and internet access. Computers are located in the reference area of Wallywall Library.
Membership Users
Wallywall Library customers must hold current membership to the Library and have their cards present when using the computer and technology facilities. A parent or guardian must be present and take full responsibility for their child's access to the library's computers and/or internet services. If customers have outstanding loans or accounts, access to computer and technology services will be blocked.
General Regulations
Wallywall Library provides access to computers for use to customers on a first come first served basis. There are a total of 3 computers available. Also available are printing, scanning and photocopying services, Bluetooth connection compatibility, and multimedia.
Customers will be charged a fee for printing.

Wallywall Library is not responsible for work saved onto the hard drive of any library computer. Customers are recommended to supply their own hard drive to save their personal work too.
Restricted Activities.
Wallywall Library computers are programmed to restrict access to certain websites and pages. These restrictions protect the security of the library network and help ensure all customers are safe in a comfortable and productive working environment.
The following activities are restricted:
- downloading or loading software onto a library computer through an external hard drive,
- downloading or loading software onto a library computer via an internet connection,
- opening certain document attachments,
- certain websites cannot be accessed.
